Henry Hill, a founder and former president of Berry-Hill Galleries in New York City, died on Monday at his home in Manhattan. He was 94. The cause was cancer, said his daughter, Angela Plowden-Wardlaw. Mr. Hill moved to New York during World War II and established Berry-Hill Galleries with his brother, Sidney. He was an authority on antique gold snuff boxes, China Coast paintings of the 19th century and American Impressionist paintings. In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his wife, Minna; a son, Frederick, who is vice president and co-owner of Berry-Hill Galleries; his brother, and three grandchildren, all of New York City.

George Chinnery (Chinese: 錢納利; 5 January 1774 – 30 May 1852) was an English painter who spent most of his life in Asia, especially India and southern China. Chinnery was born in London, where he studied at the Royal Academy Schools. His father was an exponent of the Gurney system of shorthand; his elder brother William Chinnery owned what is now Gilwell Park in Epping Forest in Essex, before he was discovered to have committed large-scale fraud, and fled to Sweden
