There aren t too many people who have earned simultaneous Juris Doctor and MBA degrees from Harvard. Mitt Romney is one of them. But he has always liked the toughest challenges. He first made a name for himself as the brilliant turnaround miracle worker from Bain Capital. And he's the one who turned the debt-ridden, scandal-plagued 2002 Olympics into a marvelous success.

Now he is campaigning to be our next president. He is a staunch advocate of free market economics and a devoted husband and father who believes in traditional values. Can he win? Will voters give him the chance to apply his management proficiency to our federal government?

I read this book in about 2 hours as it was well written, concise yet a thorough portrayal of Governor Romney. The uniqueness of the book was in the differences in the authors religious backgrounds with one being an Evangelical and the other being Mormon. Together they thoroughly researched the Governor's political beliefs, leadership abilities, character and his successful business background. After reading this book I am even more confident that Mitt Romney is capable of even greater acomplishments in the future. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that desires more information about a great American Statesman.

This book is well written and is a quick read into Mitt Romney: Who he is, his family, his life, his business career and his views on how and where to take the USA as President.

For any American with the right to vote and not much time on their hands to research candidates this is a must read.I also liked the fact it was written by a Mormon & an Evangelist and this gave a very 'realistic' view of how Mitt Romney would be like as US President.

These days the press are hounding down on Mitt mainly beacuse of his religion. Do yourself a favour and buy this book and read about the 'real' facts. If you truly want the US economy to improve and for you and your family to have more opportunities & money in your pocket Mitt Romney is the man that can create a prosperous field for you to play in. Do your due diligence, switch the TV off and read this book, then decide for yourself!

Great read after 2012 Election. Informative, and revealing. This selection offers a broader explanation to Governor Romney's actions, statements, and decision.

I've read other books about Mitt Romney, so I didn't really learn a lot of new things about him. It was interesting though to read a book written from a different perspective by two authors from different but similar backgrounds and faiths. Lisa Turner is a Mormon, and Kimberley Field is a born again Christian. They both offer insights into their beliefs especially Turner as she describes the coming of age expectations of Mormon youth in their missionary goals and their values. This book was also written in 2007 before the last election, so it's a bit dated but a lot of the information is still the same. If you want a book that's short and sweet and gives a synopsis of Romney's views and decisions that he's made this is a good read. If you are a fan of the current president than you won't like this book in any case!

The book provides a thorough overview of his track record of success and his vision. Must of the "platform" that he during his Presidential campaign had been thought out and articulated in speeches and writing long before the primary election campagain; this highlights his integrity and vision, its not just a campaign to him. Its a must read for voters as a man Mitt Romney's will surely be a factor in future elections.

It's too bad that the person most able to challenge the Dhimmicratic Party in the next election is being judged solely on his religion. Ability should count a little in a presidential candidate you would think. They tried to do the same thing to John Kennedy. They said he'd take his orders from the Pope. (Yes, they really said that!)

Political or policy issues are so multifaceted that if a candidate discusses the complexities, the products of today's education (?) system think that he is flip-flopping. With this type of thinking, the person who gets elected will be the person who says least or who mouths only platitudes. Or someone too dumb to know the complexities. This may be how we got our present incumbent. And it will probably give us our next incumbent.

Too bad, because America desperately needs a capable person of integrity. Romney may be that person. Forget religion. Think politics. Think survival. We need an intelligent person in the White House.

I loved this book! It is well-written and fun to read. I especially liked the hot cocoa talk in the end. I felt like I was hanging out with a couple of my friends. After reading this book, my views have changed toward MItt. I like everything he stands for and in fact may switch to him because of the book. A great way to discover something about a political candidate in a way that doesn't put you to sleep.
I just finished reading the book, "Mitt Romney, the Man, His Values, and His Vision", and it was perfect for me... a lot of information, not HUGE (time is a luxury), and I LOVED getting the perspective of a Mormon and an Evengelical Christian... Perfection! A lot of facts, perspective, and yet two women from different backgrounds able to get along and discuss a subject intelligently. VERY enjoyable. I am very impressed! I wish one of these could be written on every candidate by these two women.
