Put more stuff in your brain, get more incites. Yes it is what the author uses the most. Apple products are solid working products, and I recommend them all the time to non-techies (because they are really hard to break), but I want to test/experiment with everything (though I keep at least one system pristine to do my work on. ne of my biggest issues is finding adequate time to test new organizational tools and apps. How long do I test to see if it truly offers me a new feature that I can use or solves an issue with the tools I am currently using.

I liked this book.

There are lots of organizational tips and ideas included that can improve your life. Well, this book is not for the unorganized. This book is for those that already read David Allen's Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity or anything similar.

This book is written from a very personal view which I do not think is positive or negative. It gives you the viewpoint from a real person and you where the author stands and why he is doing what he does. Included in this book are also lots of excerpts from the author's favorite songs. At first I thought this was a bit strange, but towards the end of the book I started to like it.

I wished that this book would be more about organizing your life in the cloud. It is though more directed to the reader that does not use any or just a few cloud services to get deeper into it.

Overall, this is a good and helpful book. You get a few new ideas and some insights on how your brain works. But it is not mind blowing or revolutionary.

I first came across this as a sound recording in my local library. It had so much helpful information, I had to have my own copy. It's great for a not-so-organized one to help sort out information.

WwThis isn't ur typical oganizational book on how to file things. Its about rethinking HOW you file things. Biggest tip I'm still working on using search not putting things in different folders.
Great book.

Filled with personal anecdotes with few tips to garner from it, aside from using Gmail as a personal repository for information (a la Evernote). Highly recommended that you try other books first.

This review pertains to the audio copy of the book. Douglas Merrill should follow his own advice and have a professional book reader create the audio version. Merrill's fast, clipped speech makes for painful listening. Add to that all the music quotes. Both the quotes and the clipped speech detract from the content of the book. That said, the content was good enough that I will purchase a hard copy of the text.

The best part of the book for me was the discussion on work-life "integration" as opposed to "balance." I've been intergrating work and life for years and have wondered what "balanced" would mean. Turns out the balance doesn't exist for me.

I love how easy of a read this was and the no one size fits a approach to organization. It is written from an approachable ace and felt like. A friend giving you some great advice. I plan on recommending in to co-workers, friends, my boss and my husband.
I bought this book, as it was paper bound and I had ordered the hardcopy, after I listened to the ebook at least 4 times. I wanted hard copy and paper, to carry with me on travel to review his organization points and how I was trying several of his instructions and suggestions.
