For Christmas I gave our 5-year-old granddaughter a small statue of Krishna stealing "the butter." To accompany it, I gave her the "Butter Thief." What a wonderful book it is! The illustrations are beautiful and the story is told in a loving and compassionate voice. The book is a jewel, never to be gotten tired of reading.
