I first encountered this book at an evangelical seminary, where I took elementary NT Greek. This was not the book chosen for our NT Greek class. I wish that it had been. Jay's book is geared to preparing theological students that will be reading in Mark or the synoptic Gospels, and that is the vocabulary that you are provided with. The book we used was geared toward John, which of course is a good thing too.
