I honestly found this book looking up Stig Marcussen the artist that illustrated this cookbook! With that being said I was so pleasantly surprised when I received this cook book and started reading, the stories inside the book between the husband and wife team that wrote this just makes it! Being raised on the river on the Gulf Coast myself in Alabama I relate to the book and the artist so much it's just that much more personable to me!

I love all Stella's recipes. Lost this one in Katrina and was glad to replace it. Just sad this one isn't signed like my original ones was.
