Stories of everyday life aren't more funny or more interesting just because a person is well known, has famous parents, or will be a celebrity one day. Too many of the tales included in this book told of unfulfilled expectations, ingratitude and finger pointing to feel better about self failures. So much anger, regret, whining, irritation, disappointment, etc was still attached to the events, the humor struggled to show through (unless it is someone else's mysery that makes you smile).

This hilarious collection includes some of their best confessions. It provides an inside scoop on Hollywood, including stories on mishaps at the Emmys, writing for popular shows, being put in a sleeper hold by Hulk Hogan, growing up in famous families, and what it’s like to play Jan Brady.

The one problem I have with Dirty Laundry is it need to be abridged better. The stories are good, in the same vein as Fired. However, some of the soul-baring monologues may be great as text pieces in the book..I know they started out as theater monologues, but somehow it has gotten lost in the tandem narrators and print reproduction when trying to read other people's words.

I would have enjoyed to have heard the audio talents of Richard Beltzer, Kelly Carlin-McCall, Taylor Negron, Jennifer Elise Cox, Amy Stiller and many others narrating their own words. When it comes to Maggie Rowe & Andersen Gabrych. It is hit or miss. Sometimes I feel they can not convey the author's words that they edited.

So is this a good audio production to get? It is still worth listening to. Like Fired, it will leave you with sense that people in the entertainment business are just as screwed up as you...and sometime worse than you

Highly recommend this book--the stories come from a very wide variety of comedians, all at the top of their game.

I listened to this (as much as I could) as an audiobook. I was eager to get started and looking forward to some quality comic relief on drives to work. It didn't happen.

This collection made a better forum for old complaints than vehicle for entertainment.

People do unexpected things, even dumb things, everyday. Stories retelling such events become funny when people who can laugh at themselves pair the facts with a clever delivery. I think that was the intention here. The delivery failed.

I decided recently I would fast forward to a new title the next time I had to struggle this hard to enjoy a reading selection. After completing 3 of 7 discs of Dirty Laundry, I've moved on.

For a long time, Sit 'n' Spin has been among the very best story-telling venues in Los Angeles. It draws from a top-notch talent pool and works with the performers to present them in their best light.

This book collects some of the best stories from some of the best performers and it just could not be better.
This book is perfect and hilarious. The beauty of it is that it is written by so many talented writers in Hollywood, so every story you come across is funny. Recommend, recommend, recommend!
