I am in the process of completing my For Better Or For Worse collection. Reading this comic strip is very much like watching a drama about family life, with comedy of course. It is a comic strip after all. The characters age and experience things that most families would. And even though the series has it's serious moments throughout, I appreciate that Lynn Johnston created her characters to come out of those tough spots no worse for wear and to focus on the positive and even learn something along the way. I'd tell you about the individual book itself, but the collection of comic books is very much like a book series. You'll be out of the loop if you don't read them all. Five stars for the entire series.

I did not truly read it on my Kindle, I prefer to have this in actual book form. I love her books but reading it on the Kindle seemed kind of difficult. So I removed it from my Kindle.

I will keep, re-read, and share with my kids. The situations and stories are similar to experiences I been through growing up and raising my kids.

This book offers a great view of the Patterson household as retirement and empty nesting appear on the horizon. The well established story lines for all the Patterson's play out from minding the bookshop, to student teaching and becoming a great writer.
What hasn't already been said about For Better or For Worse- it's all true. Not many cartoons can stand up to these.
