I had a book from 1995 and wanted to update it. Anyone who is going to gamble, needs a copy of this book. Games like Black Jack etc. are more fun to play and win at with a little knowledge.

Good overall basics for the most popular casino games. Especially enjoyed the blackjack section - very easy to understand. Unfortunately the poker section is "very" limited - do not buy this book if you are only interested in poker.

Good tutorial, teaches well, remember even following the process, the odds are usually agains you. but the one I got was missing it's study table card. Oh, well, I just can't make one.

This book beats Frank Scoblete's books hands down - because it gives you the facts in a simple, easy to read and understand format. It doesn't promise to make you a big winner like Mr. S does. What a shame, the Idiot's seem to be way more realistic. (B-t-w, Stoker is obviously a plant - go read all the Scoblete reviews. That kind of makes this review stuff a lot of nonsense!) Buy this book and see for yourself how good it is!

This book is actually a bit on the boring side. It's basically a how to guide on just about all the games you can play. It goes really in depth into the rules and how to play the games. There are some strategies on how to play to win, but I just couldn't quite get it. I prefer Frank Scoblete's writing style and content a lot more. It's a good basic book but if you already know how to play then you may want to pass on this one.
