Tasked with covertly investigating a string of suspicious deaths, Charles Hunter finds himself reunited with Georgiana Huffington, darling of the ton, who broke his heart many years before. Marriage, like danger, could come when least expecte. or despite Lady Annica Sayles's determination to remain a spinster - the better to avenge wronged women, the better to guard her heart - her passionate response to Tristan Sinclair, the elusive Earl of Auberville, swept her into a web of intrigue and desire beyond her wildest imagining.

These are stories of strong men - and women strong enough to be their match. Saving Sarah was such a different couple than Ms. Ranstrom's first book, A Wild Justice, yet they were as vivid and real as any I've read. Plotting is one of Ms. Ranstrom's strong suits.

Sarah Hunter was a lady of the night

Sarah Hunter Was a Lady of the Night.

Author(s): Gail Ranstrom. Title: Saving Sarah (Historical Romance). Gail Ranstrom always enjoyed a good tale of danger, adventure, action and romance of long ago times and distant lands. Condition: Acceptable. When the youngest of her three children began school, she put pen to paper and wrote her first novel, which is thankfully still under her bed. Her next efforts were more successful and she has been writing ever since as the award winning author of eight novels and two novellas.

Harlequin Historical Praise for author Gail Ranstrom’s first novel, A Wild Justice. winning jenna’s heart. Gail Ranstrom certainly has. both writing talent and original ideas. For my mother, Shirley, who taught me more than she even realized, and for the subtle ways those lessons manifest themselves day after day. And for my beautiful sister, Cheryl, who has been my best friend and staunchest supporter.

Sarah Hunter is a lady of the night. Not in the salacious sense, but Ethan Travis knows she has secrets. He finds her a lost and vulnerable soul who needs his unique talents to rescue her - almost as much as he needs her unconditional love to rescue him. Ethan's appeal is dark and dangerous, and Sarah is drawn to him with a wild intensity. But even a man with a past can never truly desire a woman without a future . . .

Love the story line in this book. It's a good story, and although there is a "serious" less light hearted nature in parts of the story, it ends on a positive note like any US romance. Bought this copy to replace a previous one that was falling apart.

Sarah and her friends seek justice for women in a world were they have little rights or protection. Sarah is a victim of a gang rape. This is a no go for me in reading romance.

The back cover reads:
"Sarah Hunter was a lady of the night. Not in the salacious sense, but Ethan Travis has no way of knowing her close-held secrets. He saw, instead of an avenging angel, a lost and vulnerable soul who needed his unique talents to rescue her - almost as much as he needed her unconditional love to rescue him!
Cloaked in dark and dangerous appeal, Ethan Travis wore his whispered title of "the Demon of Alsatia" well. And Sarah Hunter was drawn to him with a mad intensity. But it was futile, she knew, for even a man with a past could never truly desire a woman without a future!"
I could not put this book down. I kept wanting to turn the next page a find out what happened. The story is filled with suspens and sensual love scenes. I don't think I'll be loaning this one out - it is a keeper.

Saving Sarah is one of the most entertaining Regency Historical I have ever had the pleasure to read. From the moment you lift the cover unto the very end, when you reluctantly put Saving Sarah aside, you are enthralled.
Sarah Hunter and Ethan Travis are a refreshing match. Together they will carry you on a suspenseful, sensual and humorous joyride that you will remember for many years to come. Don't miss your chance to be entertained.
I will be impatiently waiting for any future sequels by Gail Ranstrom in the Wednesday League series.

Saving Sarah proved that Gail Ranstrom is a writer of heroes I fall in love with and heroines I fantasize about being. These are stories of strong men -- and women strong enough to be their match. Saving Sarah was such a different couple than Ms. Ranstrom's first book, A Wild Justice, yet they were as vivid and real as any I've read.
Plotting is one of Ms. Ranstrom's strong suits. I enjoy a page turner and this one kept me burning the midnight oil. The language swept me up and away and I was sorry when it was over.
I can't wait for her next one!

I loved this book. I don't read a lot of romance, but this author will keep me coming back for more. I found the plot very easy to follow and loved all of the contact between the hero and heroine. Lots of sensual tension. It was hard to put the book down and I found myself wanting to keep reading until I was done. I also found it nice that the other characters of the Wednesday League are well developed, I am hoping to see more of them in the future. I will definately be looking for more from this author.

I thought that her first book was one of the best I had ever read for a new author and could hardly wait to read more of the Wednesday League. Saving Sara did not disappoint me, if fact it exceeded my expectations and my hope is that Ms. Ranstrom does not tire of writing about these wonderful characters and that we see more of the Wednesday League.
This book was such a disappointment, it is very predictable, unfocused on the plot. Just wanders and wanders and wanders.. .I had to go back and continually reread parts to try to understand the plot. ...
