Tom Wilson is a brilliant storyteller.

Tom Wilson is a brilliant storyteller - -Larry Bond. Black Serpent" is set in Northern California, and opens with a scene showing blood-thirsty pirates taking over a fortune in gold that's being transported by coastwise schooner (from mines farther up the coast) to San Francisco. The bad guys are renegade Indians, Russians, Mexicanos and whites (all true), members of a bloodthirsty and terror- instilling group called Sociedad Serpientes. Teeming with helicopters, brutish thugs and tomahawk-waving Indians, this thriller takes readers on a gripping, and rather gruesome, journey through the Northwoods of Michigan and Wisconsin.

Tim Johnson is the 16 year old son of Thanatos and the legacy of Erebus. His grandfather was Tim johnson. He lives in the year 2156 in the zo̱ntanoús nekroús. Tom has black hair, black eyes (they have a happy look to them), retactable dark grey wings and he is usally smiling. He usally wears dark blue jeans and a black longsleeve T-shirt. Tom is a frendly guy, he cares about death even though his dad is death. He is brave and clever, an amazing fighter and loves to do just that (fight).

When Senator Eddie Adcock, a supporter of the Manido-Ojibwe tribe, is brutally murdered and his stellar reputation ruined, covert operative Link Anderson will stop at nothing to restore the Senator's good name as well as the honor of the Manido-Ojibwe people. Original.

Loved all of Tom Wilson's books. As stated by the other reviewer, it is very hard to put down once started.

But it has been a long time - please tell Tom Wilson we need MORE books by him.

I have not received this book. I sent an e-mail to the place that was supposed to send me the book and they did not respond.

I wish there were such an organization as the Weyland Foundation whose civic-minded billionaires fund and run reforms. They send out Blackfoot Link Anderson to clean up corruption in an American Indian community in Wisconsin, an operation that initially seems to be handled, not by Link, but by his assistant Erin back in New York. She and Helga, her computer system, find out everything and anything he needs to know to proceed with his mission and transmits all to him via the telephone. But finally, finally, the book gets going. Link shows his stuff in a small plane and on the ground tracking trails. The head local man of the crooks is sidelined, the bad cops--with two Indian infiltrator cops--are also put away, and the head mobster from Chicago skulks back to Chicago. Apart from the action, there is interesting background on that part of America and the Chippewa/Ojibwe Indian nations who inhabit it. Oh yes, the title Black Sky: there is a Blackhawk helicopter that menaces Link but that is all the blackness in the sky I could see.
