by Joan Dial (Author). I bought this book that was published in 1982 at a used book store because I find a lot of contemporary authors to be mediocre and amateurish in their writing. This book is an enjoyable interwoven tapestry of different lives, geography and circumstances. You have no idea where it's heading and that's why it's so captivating. I have a paperback copy on my bookshelf but was thrilled to see it now being offered for my kindle.
