Antonina Harbus and Russell Poole. Although a wealth of things could be said of Roberta Frank, here we shall abide by Ælfric’s dictum and maintain a fitting brevity. In her essay ‘Poetic Words in Late Old English Prose,’ Roberta Frank examines the occasional use in prose of words otherwise found only in poetry.
