The book skims along so one forgets it was unfinished at her death so that it's unresolved end leaves one hanging. Here is one of her descriptions: "He might think he was paying compliments, but it was like having your face licked."

While I loved the story, I was most impressed by Lily Dorment's reading of the book. She has a beautiful voice. Lily Dorment's reading made the story come alive. I could listen to it again just for her voice. I hope Lily Dorment continues to record audio books as I hope to hear more of her voice in the future.
