Silver Brumby's Daughter book. I really like Elyne Mitchell books because I think they are really interesting and really exiting books she makes. My mum read this book when she was my age and really enjoyed it so I started reading it. It was one of the top books one time, along time ago.

Silver Brumby Kingdom, illustrated by Annette Macarthur-Onslow - Silver Brumby Whirlwind . I just wish Mitchell could have retained some of the magic of her previous books, there are many unanswered questions, and I miss the characters of the previous novels.

Silver Brumby Kingdom, illustrated by Annette Macarthur-Onslow - Silver Brumby Whirlwind /illustrated by Victor Ambrus - Son of the Whirlwind /illustrated. Perhaps after Thowra died, Elyne lost some of her passion?

I read the first book waaaay back when I was 10, when the story was not very old. I was thrilled to find that there is a whole series about the brumbies! So I am thoroughly enjoying reading all of them. They are wholesome wonderful stories, well written. And if you like listening to an Aussie accent, get the Audible book!!

Captures the reality of how a rare and beatiful wild horse must deal not only with the danger of capture by humans, but also with overcoming the dangers of living free in the wilds of Southern Australia.

I'm very pleased to obtain this item. As a 10-year-old living in Australia temporarily (1965-1966), I read and loved the Silver Brumby books by Elyne Mitchell. Now as an adult, I hope to obtain them all and read them again. Thank you!

After reading this over and over again as a child I have just revisited this old classic. It was just as thrilling and lovely as an adult. Have just bought the rest of the series.

I have loved these books since I was a kid and have read The Silver Brumby probably 50+ times! I'm very happy to finally get to re-read some of the other books in the series as they were next to impossible to find after my house burnt down and they were out of print. Worth every cent! I also bought the "Silver Brumby Kingdom" which has another 4 books from the series.
