Wat!?
Although I refer to all 3 of the competing publishers' drug guides for research during Nursing school, this one's layout is my favorite. Even though one of the others includes pricing information, this one remains on my desk for constant use in writing care plans and studying for Pharm quizzes. It's organized alphabetically by generic drug name, with multiple brands (including Canadian). Appendices contain specialized drugs.

One of the layout choices I appreciate is the use of bold and italicized text to differentiate life-threatening, common, and relatively rare adverse effects. Makes it easy to group them, mentally.

This book is excellent! It contains current medications and has all the related information you need to know (interactions, side effects, dosages etc) to get you through the nursing program. As a potential nursing student, you will need a drug guide, so this is the one to get. Due to the updates of current medications and the addition of new drugs, this book is great for school and probably for the next couple of years but eventually you will need to research updated info. The cool thing is that most of the older medications still used today will not change, due to the years of research, and this book will still remain a reliable resource.

I bought this from back in my nursing school days, 8 years later still useful tool. I love it. I like the set up better than the newer books.
Diab
I love using it when doing med sheets for school and it has examples of nursing diagnosis for the specific drug I love it makes school work for nursing school easier
Ral
brand new.
Gathris
This was sold as a new book, but had ink on the pages. Rather disappointed.
Wild Python
This book is a great reference for nurses or nursing students. Easy to find all the need to know about drugs. Highly recommend
Lay-out is just like the book.
BEWARE: On a Kindle: There is no quick reference guide; you will be turning page after page in the index.
If you do a search you will get 5-15 pages of possibilities not ideal if you dont know the drug.
I feel they could have done a lot better job on the e-book. Infomation is good, but getting to it is a pain.
