Allan Cooper has examined Namibian political and economic issues for over two decades. His fourth book on Namibia, Ovambo Politics in the Twentieth Century, focuses in the political history of Namibia's largest ethnic group. Cooper investigates how the Ovambo reacted to colonial rule imposed first by Germany and then by South Africa.
