However, The Sigfluence Generation needs guidance from the Baby Boomer Generation to fulfill its Synopsis: Sigfluence is a word invented by John F.

This book proposes that sigfluence, a new word coined by John Loase to mean positive, significant, long-term interpersonal influence which the New York Times featured as one of the new concepts that emerged from Harvard's 1984 International Conference on Thinking, is a fundamental motivation of a person, similar to Viktor Frankl's will-to-meaning.

Sigfluence is a word invented by John F. In Dr. Loase's 8th book, The Sigfluence Generation, John reveals the enormous Potential and Need of our 18-25 year olds to affect sigfluence. However, they need mentorship from Baby Boomers to realize their potential. Our Millennials need honesty, not lies, to positively transform America. The United States is mired in educational denial and neglect.

In Theory and Measurement of Sigfluence, John Loase presents an interdisciplinary analysis of sigfluence, a word invented by Loase, meaning significant, long-term, positive influence.

Sigfluence is neglected in our schools, our businesses, and perhaps most sadly, in our personal lives. My mission is to awaken as many as possible to the lost human potential and covert bias in our widespread neglect of sigfluence and the dynamic energy created for the individual and for society of living in harmony with our sigfluence potential.

The work first introduces anecdotal and biographical accounts of sigfluence, notably the influence that shaped the lives of Lee Iacocca, Mother Teresa, John Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan. The next three chapters explore the sigfluence in relation to psychology, language, and the world of work. The seventh chapter suggests specific ways by which society should heighten its sensitivity toward long-term influence. The writing concludes with extensive applications of sigfluence to the personal life of the reader. I have a young daughter and I've often wondered what her generation will do in the future and what technology will affect her life like computers and cell phones have affected mine. John Loase has written a book called the Sigfluence Generation: Our Young People's Potential to Transform America. The book is based on 20 years of research and the idea is that young people have a significant amount of potential. Instead of all of the negative things you read and hear all day long, this book actually has positive things to say about the future and the impact youth can have on it.

This is a wonderful book that talks about the importance of our youth to measure success in themselves by the positive influence they make on our world and others around them, rather then measuring their success monetarily. John Loase writes about a study that he did among college students and surprisingly more students measured success by their influence on others and the world, rather than how much money or possessions they have. These results make a mom like myself proud! Great book for college students and any adult that mentors the youth of our future!

It was a waste of my time and money. Don't bother reading it. Do yourself a favor and do something more useful with your time... watch paint dry, watch grass grow, watch reality television, but don't buy this book.
