If you love "Merrie Olde England" and highly-detailed, beautiful maps, made by a master cartographer hundreds of years ago, you MUST have this book! Additionally, the author's style is very interesting and enjoyable, too, giving many insights into the richness of English history.. The book is nice and large, so even the small details (of which there are MANY) are easy to see and read.

I bought my copy used, from an Amazon Seller, and the price was so low that I just could not turn it down. Little did I know just how very enjoyable and lovely this book really is. Just order it! If you like maps and old England, it will be a perfect fit for you!

Beautifully illustrated book. My husband is a direct ancestor of John Speede who drew the impressive maps. He was thrilled to have this as a Christmas present!
