This has a lot of good information about how to trace your ancestors but there is no way it is going to do it for you.

A clear, well written resource book, both for the more and less experienced genealogist. Presentation is excellent and subjects are easily found.

This book is orth every nickel - has many many sites and places mentioned to work
on your family tree. I saw it and gave it to a friend but I want to get one for
myself. Great reference.
Enone
This is a great manual for the beginning family researcher as well as a updater for the experienced family researcher.

This book is so straightforward and helpful. The websites are current and up-to-date. The information is arranged in useful chapters. I was so impressed with this book that I purchased it for the public library where I work. After I show it to patrons, they always check it out. This is a great purchase if you are just starting out, or if you have been doing this for several years. I would make this a first purchase if I were starting out in genealogy. My copy is bristling with sticky-note flags and I use it all the time.
One of the greatest things about this book is...it's not only an easy, simplified guidebook, but it also inspires, excites, and motivates you. It's by far the best genealogy book available!
