The Other World is a vision of the afterlife transmitted from Albert Pauchard, shortly after he passed away in 1934. For if they had stung you, what wouldhave become of you?"And suddenly I realised that this was connected with all irritations, all the thoughts of criticism, which I had passively borne whileon earth. If I had nourished them, the wasps would have stung me. IfI had chased them away, there would have been no wasps!Pauchard explains that purgatory is indeed a real condition created by our thoughts and actions. The Other World is a vision of the afterlife transmitted from Albert Pauchard, shortly after he passed away in 1934.

The Other World, Albert Pauchard, White Crow Books. In the vein of Elsa Barkers Letters From a Living Dead Man and Wellesley Tudor Poles Private Dowding, Pauchard relays his experiences in the manner of a travel writer reporting back from some far-flung land.

The Other World is a vision of the afterlife transmitted from Albert Pauchard, the President of the Geneva Society for Psychic Studies, soon after he passed away in 1934. Similar to Wellesley Tudor Pole’s Private Dowding, Pauchard relays his experiences in the manner of a travel writer reporting back from some far-flung land. The Other World is enlightening and entertaining reading for anyone interested in the field of survival research.
Pauchard makes a point of emphasizing the importance of dealing with unresolved issues such as attachments, addictions, and negative relationships, ‘before’ we pass into the higher vibrations of the afterlife. The book also demonstrates that the regions close to earth where ‘dead’ people find themselves are just as illusionary as our physical experience is. There are some gems within it, very much akin to the Cistercian tradition of listening with the heart:
“You have been trained to fight your faults. This will give you little success. Separate yourself from the inferior “I” and observe it coldly, as if it were something other than you, for it is. . .the human soul does not develop by logic but by things seen and felt…things are not as you imagine. Happiness surround each creature just like the air itself which it breathes without being aware of it.”
“The heart, not the head, is the seat of true wisdom. The head is the seat of knowledge, but the heart is the seat of wisdom.”
