Meticulously referenced, based upon medical and historical research, sociological studies, and church documents, "Male and Female He Made Them" is replete with helpful resources and quotations. All the hard questions about marriage, divorce, and same-sex unions are succinctly tackled, making it a practical tool for engaging in serious study or debate. Written with brevity and clarity, the volume leaves no doubt that indifference to social and moral issues is not an option for Catholics. If we do not jump into the fray to defend marriage, be it through politics or education or intense prayer, then choices will be made for us, choices that will impinge upon the freedom and happiness of our children for generations to come.

This book is a very good one about homosexuality and homosexual "marriage". It is in a question and answer format and you can read just one question or all of them and you don't have to read in any specific order either because it is designed to where you don't have to read one chapter to understand the next. I highly recommend this to all who seek to better understand the subjects of homosexuality and homosexual "marriage". It is great for apologists to learn how to effectively oppose homosexual "marriage".

This book was great at answering many of the younger generation's questions about the giant homosexual lobby in this country, and how fabricated the entire situation really is. I think every parish should have a copy. Apart from the valuable content, it is presented in a easy to read format for anyone to pick up and read. A great buy for Catholics, as well as non-Catholics alike.

Wonderful work

Excellent book, well written.

I had the misfortune of stumbling on an interview being held with Mary Jo Anderson a short while ago regarding the topic of this book. Though I would not have wished to contribute to the sales of the book, I wanted, in print, to read the views of this author. I am saddened, the mildest term I can use here. Why is so much time and effort still used against the GLBT community? I think of a young teen, questioning his or her sexual identity, picking up this book of misconceptions and outright lies and am beyond saddened. As a cradle Catholic, I apologize to those Catholic youths for the Church position against them, very strongly exemplified in this book. There is no arguing with the authors, for they have put on the mantle of righteousness. Please, do not believe, children of God, this slanted, biased book. In reality, I give this book no stars and would only rate it and others like it in the negative categories.(Since I can't submit my comments without rating the item, I will give it the lowest possible, though even that is undeserved.)

Male and Female, He Made Them, is a cogent piece of research with reference to resources and answers that neither demonize nor ask for the exile or silencing of the homosexual community. It brings to the fore the real movement behind the homosexual marriage community and it points out that those who are for it actually want to silence and completely remove from the main arena any who oppose. America was not founded for such people of totalitarian intolerance.

Ironically, the detractors only prove that we have indoctrinated so well already, as testified to by the 'saddened' critic who makes no comment about any points in the book but merely asks people to ignore the book, based on a character assassination of the author that doesn't even make one point that shows her to be wrong or malicious.

The educators of this day have done a disservice to most cradle Catholics by teaching a method of analysis that hers resembles.

RAther than citing any points in the book, she attacked the person.
Rather than offering a cogent response to a great deal of research, that was clearly not just Mary Jo's own, the critic advised readers not to read the researched book, in favor or her opinion, founded on personal enmity and the evident schlock compassion that is actually intolerance.

Mary Jo Anderson has a wealth of compassion, witness her willingness to engage with people who use attacks on her. Those 'compassionate' people would rather silence any opinions that don't follow the disaster that has befallen us, as a result of the last 50 years. We have lived in the "Age of Orgasm", where the dominant religion of worshiping and facilitating the female pleasure organ has brought about the rise of a sexual orientation that is not just harmful to conservative families but is tragically fatal for the majority of people suffering with homosexual sexual orientation. Not to mention the other disorder, heterosexual promiscuity.

The PC method of intimidation is to label someone as intolerant. This is successfully destroying careers and families as parents are not even allowed to KNOW the indoctrination fed to their children and if they complain, are not allowed to do anything about it. By branding her critics ask others to not even look at her viewpoint. Nothing of the book is in the review, purely an attack...in a 'book' review.

To be willing to destroy a culture in order to promote the sex and love and anything goes self-indulgence is the height of hostility, not compassion and as bad as it is for the culture, God HAS won the battle and can reorder anything. Catholics personally have to betray their own soul and their Catholicism to take up this thinking.

Reviewing through character assassination violates the most basic Christian guides: Love the Lord God with all your heart and all your soul; Do unto others as you would have done unto you and most especially for these times: better to have never been born than to harm the little children.

Borrowing from this book, as well as other sources, it is clear that even the homosexual shrinks (who were the largest organization pushing to make the homosexual disorder an identity) admit that children do function best with a father and mother. Homosexual marriage says marriage is about sex, not about family and procreation, even though Christianity, the religion of many of the critics,clearly shows that the one perfect human being, who came into this world to show us how to do things perfectly, Christ, chose to come in not as a tree and not as a jet engine and not as a sweet, cute animal, but as a vulnerable baby, born into a family of a mother and father who could nurture and love him. Family was laid down by Christ and nearly all world religions and cultures for centuries have also used family in order to continue the species.

HOmosexuality was strengthened by the woman's movement, which largely provoked this attack on marriage and made men an 'option', killing the historic role of the protective husband and father by giving men license to have sex with many women and never have to think about family. Women as sexual objects is what the pill did and the woman's movement's course was correctly predicted by the Humane Vitae when it laid out the disaster that would fall the society with the advent of the pill: divorce, abortion, euthanasia, the death of the family.

Over 50 years ago.

For the first time in history, 80 countries are on the road to extinction because family is in decline. In Europe, regions such as the Netherlands are trying to reverse same sex marriage because it has destroyed a generation, with marriage down to an all time low, illegitimacy leading to drop outs, suicide and teen depression and violence. Not to mention euthanasia. With family out of the way, it's time to get down to the brass tacks: Making the planet optimally comfortable for the elites who only care about the present time and their specific descendants. A fractured view where even a billion people is far too many for a group who has dreams of planetary ownership along the lines of a state sized region for each dynasty of the elite race, and a genetically bred lower form of species to labor for them without thoughts of upward mobility or freedom.

The magic of cloning. Almost as disastrous as the atom bomb's discovery, only this time the eugenics don't view their plan as anything but good.

This overpopulation brigade rejoices that the 'planet' will not be used up now, with this decline in population dipping below replacement levels. Unfortunately for them (or it would be unfortunate if the media, education and law didn't block every bit of publication of this fact) every serious study shows that the only danger to the world's resources is government oppression, which has destroyed the balance of nature. Every person on the planet could fit in Texas with three feet between them. Population has nothing to do with their agenda, once again it's eugenics, which is perfectly happy to hide behind their 'compassionate' support of same sex marriage.

THAT is who are being defended eugenics, the silent group behind gay marriage. And any thinking that those in favor of a 'master race' have ANY interest in having homosexuality promoted in future societies need to think again.

Homosexual marriage, as shown in "After the Ball", a book written by gay marketers and referred to by Mary Jo, is a serious, savvy, well written outline for a campaign to mainstream homosexuals and marginalize and then exterminate the Catholic church. If you look at the LGBT these days there is NO ONE more protected. Meanwhile they are able to silence, persecute and legislate any who oppose them, most glaringly, Catholics and conservative Christians, the present day documented most persecuted people on the planet, to the point that MILLIONS are being massacred while all of these compassionate people self righteously watch the blood flow.

Welcome to the same techniques as the Nazi party, the KGB, Mao and North Korea.

Mary Jo Anderson speaks clinically, not trying to please everyone with false compassion. Her actions meanwhile, are meant to help a people who are plagued by depression, STDs, addiction, suicide and domestic violence. She does not lie.

Some of us live among and love the gay community and we see even the best and brightest suffering from this. My own boss, a man I love very much, apologized to me for his depression and alcoholism, preventing him from protecting me when the company where I worked went on a witch hunt. I love him dearly and to this day and he knows my views and would not have me silenced.

Do not mistake false compassion with intelligent disagreement. Steer clear of the mob mentality that can be roused to unlimited heights of violence and persecution by merely a few well placed words of a charismatic rabble rouser. Mary Jo's sin is that she presents facts without being either sexy or warm and fuzzy or charismatic.

Admit it and get right with God.

The irony here is that Mary Jo's compassion is in line with God's, who can take a person with this disorder and work in their heart to bring them back to him. The false compassion of Catholics and liberal Christians, using character assassination as it does and no charity, prevents God from being able to work with them, as they have hardened your hearts.

The counter cultural thing is to not be open to demonizing those who don't think as the mainstream bullies. There is an objective truth and the relativists have proved it themselves with their statement that disproves their own theory.: 'Truth is how each of us see it' is an objective truth, a truth which stands up against opinion. Hence, they disprove their own claim and prove that from the very start, their argument for homosexual marriage is false.

If you think that most people who speak out against this are doing it because they enjoy it think again. Many of us came from the other side, but once open to seeing the far reaching consequences already happening, truth became clear and false compassion was tossed.

It is far more courageous to be truly compassionate, when there is unlimited potential for personal persecution. Mary Jo wrote this, knowing that the most powerful and misguided and malicious leaders in media, government, education, law and the LGBT will be coming after her determined to annihilate her.
