But ALL of her books seem to be in series and this was the ONLY Catherine Coulter I could find at the library, so I grabbed it. I was mostly lost.

Catherine Coulter is the New York Times bestselling author of the FBI Thrillers featuring husband and wife team Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock. Catherine Coulter's novels are usually very entertaining and easy to read. She is also the author-with J. T. Ellison-of the Brit in the FBI series. She lives in Sausalito, California. I have read almost every one. This one, though, was very hard to read and very easy to put down.

To Yngrid Flores Becker: you are a very special woman, and a delight. I am so pleased you are part of our family. So are Corky and Cleo. CHAPTER 1. Baltimore, Maryland April, 1835. Jason Sherbrooke knew it was time to go home when he rolled away from Lucinda Frothingale, stared into the fat ugly face of her pug, Horace, who growled at him, and suddenly, with no warning at all, saw his twin, eyes sheened with tears as he’d waved good-bye to Jason from the dock at the Eastbourne Harbor. Waved until the ship was too far away for Jason to see him.

Lyon's Gate by Catherine Coulter. Published by Thriftbooks. com User, 13 years ago. I enjoyed this book, just as I have all of her books. I always pick up her books the first day of release, and I must admit that I waited about a week to purchase Lyon's Gate because both twins were covered so well in the previous book, that I thought I had already read this twin's story. I thought that the story was well developed and humorous. Published by Thriftbooks

Catherine Coulter brings readers the eighth book in the bestselling Sherbrooke Bride historical romance series. In the New York Times bestseller Sherbrooke Twins, Catherine Coulter introduced us to twins James and Jason Sherbrooke, two of the handsomest, most charming young men ever to grace the Sherbrooke family. James, the elder twin, is devoted to his family's land, and is now settled and married to the girl next door. Jason, however, can't forgive himself for his role in the events of five years ago, when his own willful blindness endangered the lives of his father and twin. He fled England, unable to face his family's love and acceptance, and has spent five long years in exile, trying to learn how to live again. Now Jason has returned, and his family will do anything to keep him in England. When he shows interest in purchasing Lyon's Gate, a stud farm near Northcliffe, they are overjoyed-but there is a complication, in the lovely form of Miss Hallie Carrick, an impetuous, outspoken young lady who may have just what it takes to fire the spark of life in Jason again.

I read all the stories about the Sherrbrook family. I brought the audio book when I saw it at a good price.

We Finally find closure but not before a little drama and adventure I thought it started a little slow but it 's tempo picks up readily and the characters we have come to love in the previous eight Sherbooke novels are brought back to us to round out this latest tale

This was one of my favorite books in the Bride Series. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. I also like seeing characters from the other books.

I really was disappointed with this book. Catherine Coulter's novels are usually very entertaining and easy to read. I have read almost every one. This one, though, was very hard to read and very easy to put down. There was too much dialogue and most of it wasn't very entertaining and scenes jumped from one to the other without thought. There wasn't any emotion involved in this book. I really wasn't happy with this one and am sorry I spent the ten dollars for it.
