I was impressed with the more than 600 math problems in this book. There are Formulas given for every type of Real Estate Math, along with step-by-step examples. This book starts off with very basic math concepts. Then, once you have mastered an area you can move, at your own pace, to a more challenging area.

Gem provides an excellent review of this book. My add to this is that as a College Real Estate Professor for over 25 years I have reviewed many, many Real Estate related math books & this is by far the best I have had the privilege to review & recommend to my students. Each semester many of these students, mostly 10 to 30 years out of school & working to support themselves & often families, have felt a need for help with their math skills. This book has been the answer for most of them. Very well written & helpful to those feeling "math challenged" as well as those just needing to "brush up" in a few areas. My only disappointment rests in their lack of support for the Texas Instruments BAII business calculator which works using the standard math method most of us learn in school which is quite different from the RPN method used by Hewlett Packard. I have also taught Advanced Real Estate Appraisal in the past & found it necessary to include the TI & various other calculator's methods in the class teachings as only HP was covered in that textbook as well. For this reason this book gets a 4.5 rating instead of the 5 it would certainly deserve if other calculators were also included.
