Finally, a nice short book that lays it all out on the line, and tells you how to fix the usual relationship problems. No rambling on about extraneous information.

When I opened the book and read the first page, I nearly cried. The woman was describing nearly exactly what I had been feeling in my marriage after 13 years- loneliness! Her husband thinks the way to show love is to help with fixing things around the house, maybe buying the occasional bouquet, but never just talking, or holding one another without it leading to 'Bada-bing.'

Similar to the "5 Languages of Love" book, the woman doesn't understand this form of "showing love" and since she doesn't get any other signs of his love, she thinks that he doesn't care about her.

This book can easily be read in about an hour! The author does an EXCELLENT job of describing the problem(s) and letting you know why things aren't working. It also brings out why changing the way you show love can be very beneficial to you both.

I couldn't believe it when my husband actually picked up the book and read it. He is not much of a reader, usually. After he read this book, he said "I think I get it now." He said the book made things more clear to him. Now if he could just put this new knowledge into action...

I was given this book by a family member it took me about 40 minutes to read because I could relate to it. Great tips on where and how to start on bringing the intimacy back to life as well as what stresses a marriage goes through which causes the flame to die out. Suggestions and ideals on what needs to be done to get that flame sparking again. Book is only 87 pages.
