I am currently finishing my book "Chasing Justice" which I believe will turn into an action drama film based on my exploits as a NYC Police Officer trying to make change from within and on the streets. I am grateful to God for the opportunity to have been empowered to be able help myself and others reach this similiar state on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual basis.

As a licensed private investigator, security consultant, and decorated ten-year veteran of the NYPD, Moskowitz reveals why good cops are prevented from doing their jobs and shows what we can do to fix a system that favors the bad guys.

Gary Moskowitz writes about music and culture for The Economist and SF Weekly, and is a journalism instructor at San Francisco State University and California State University, East Bay. He has written for Time, The Village Voice, and The New York Times. The Untold Stories Behind Hip-Hop's Greatest Albums.

Gene Malone is a hero in disguise. The book cleverly describes what it must have been like to live and work in danger 24 x 7. His job is thankless and we don't have enought cops like Gene to go around. What a shame. A pleasure to read if you like knowing about what its like being a cop facing dangerous and difficult situations. A good read for all ages.

When I read this book I cried, I laughed, and I grieved. It's an amazing story, I love. As a single mother of five, this book brought me hope and protection, from my husband. Now I can feel safe in my home. Gene your amazing. I love you.
