The authors also have revised their overall coverage on maintaining a responsible and healthy sexual relationship, with greater attention to diversity and inclusiveness.

I would call it a 'classic' sexuality book with cutting-edge content. I love how it addresses politics, particularly in chapters on contraception. Dianne Kerr, Kent State University. OUR SEXUALITY has proved to be the perfect text for my undergraduate course on human sexuality. It is well-structured, formatted, and presented, with interesting sidelines alongside the expected and necessary information. This is the text that you have been fantasizing about.

I rented this book for my Human Sexuality Class. Although, the spine cover thingy is hanging on by a thread. otherwise, there is nothing else wrong with the book!

This textbook is designed for your basic undergraduate course in human sexuality. It covers the basics of sexual of human anatomy, gender, gender roles, STDs, relationships, abortion, sexuality throughout aging, and a variety of other topics. The book is laid out in easy to read chapters with illustrations to help the reader remember key points and learn anatomical parts.
I purchased this textbook for a human sexuality 3500 class. I took the class online, thus the importance of my comprehension of the material within the text was crucial. I may have slightly enjoyed a textbook on occasion, but more often than not they are simply a means to a grade. This was not the case with "Our Sexuality", which I loved! Sources cited within the text have led me to more reading, I even purchased a few first editions of the works of Kinsey, Ellis, and Masters & Johnson that were referenced early on. I had a friend visiting from out of state and she read the entire textbook over her weeklong stay. I briefly questioned selling the book back, (I normally await, eagerly, at the chance of pawning off my pile of overpriced unused crap that they call textbooks.) But the need to purchase new overpriced crap for the coming semester led me to list the book on EBay, it sold for $50.

I saved almost $30 by purchasing the textbook through Amazaon instead of the bookstore. Amazon has certainly become my preference for purchasing textbooks.
bought for school
This was probably the best text book I have had to buy, and definitely worth keeping. It was very information, was perfect for the class and was easy to read. The only negative for me was that usually you can look up a topic in the back and find what page the information is on-this was not always the case with this book. It has a great companion site also. I used the current version and some in the class had the previous one, the main difference being the order of chapters.
It worked well for my for my Human Sexuality course in university. This is an older version and we were SUPPOSED to have the newer version, but honestly this worked just fine, it supplemented the class well.
College book requirement. Interesting book. I majored in Political Science and this book is engaging and easy to read. If you like the topic, it helps a lot
Used this book for a college class. The condition exceeded my expectations.
Ok...but not enough detail about counseling such issues
