This is a great book. It is explained at a child's level without sounding dumbed down, and it gives just the right amount of mention to God and prayer within the history and present of Thanksgiving Day. Margot Parker hit it right on with this book and I'm interested to see other possible childrens books she has written to explain the histories of holidays.
