Great book. Not only words of wisdom but reference for further details to back up what he recommends. Wish I had read it before other trip I have taken.
Umge
Represents what you really need to know about kayaking, presented in a friendly, straightforward manner.

A very comprehensive book covering almost every aspect of sea kayaking that needs to be covered. It's also very interesting to read, especially expedition stories.

Excellent, not for the beginner. I bought this as a companion to Johnson's "Sea Kayakers Handbook" I could have just used this one.
Kardana
I bought a second hand book, is almost new (all but one page with some text surlined). Beyond this, is a good kayaking book that explains concepts of navigation, waves, tydes, and some more facts oriented to long kayak trips.
Rageseeker
Scary but very precise coverage of subjects you need to know. A little daunting for a neophyte just learning.
Brialelis
Probably has some good info, but written in a booring style and I mosty fell when reading it. I finally stuck tis book somewhere and will robably never go back to it. A lot of information which is contained in other books.
Haven't read it yet
