All she wants to do, besides giving birth, is to go on a short shopping spree before she's supposed to meet her husband for lunch.

Didi Wood, eight and a half months pregnant with her third child, heads to a mall to get out of the oppressive Dallas heat and get some shopping done. She is supposed to meet her husband for lunch at one o'clock. By 1:45, she still isn't there-she's riding down the highway at breakneck speed with a madman at the wheel. His name is Lyle, and he has abducted her from a department store parking lot. But why he's done this, and what he wants, are anyone's guess. Now the police and the FBI have to somehow track him down. And a very pregnant Didi must keep herself and her unborn child alive at any price-even as they ride closer and closer into the darkest chamber of a psychopath's mind...

Brilliant book, true to Paulinna Simons style. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. You just can't guess what's going to happen next. You really feel for the main characters in the book and just can't wait to see how things pan out.

It was a fast moving book with very interesting characters and a great story. I held my breath while reading the last few chapters.

Interesting novel and premise, I have to say I liked the way she got herself out of the situation, I wish it had gone into more detail.

I just love Paullina Simons books. She writes those books you just cannot put down and I have now read everything she has available from Amazon, so am looking eagerly for something to take her place. "Eleven Hours" held me in suspense the whole time I was reading it and the poor woman who was kidnapped by the "mad" psycotic male loser, kept me wondering how she was going to get away in time to have her baby.
